Man Linked To 5th Street Aggravated Assault Case Arrested

AUSTIN, TX — A man connected to an aggravated sexual assault that occurred in downtown Austin on Aug. 16 has been arrested, according to Austin police. Deveon Sanford Govan was arrested Monday by the Lonestar Fugitive Task Force and the Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force in Victoria. Govan faces an aggravated sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping and robbery charge. He is currently booked in Victoria County Jail. MORE ON THAT STORY: Have You Seen This Man?
