Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 09/03/2021 5:00 AM 09/02/21 2021-2449, Fraud: On 09/02/21 at 11:15 a.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of Kristine street in Oswego Township for the report of fraud. This investigation is ongoing. 2021-2449, Fraud: 2021-2453, Identity Theft: On 09/02/21 at 5:52 p.m., deputies responded to the 2500 block of Light Road in Oswego Township for the report of an identity theft. This investigation is ongoing. 2021-2454, Theft: On 09/02/21 at 9:22 p.m., deputies responded to the 6000 block of Dover Court in Na-Au-Say Township for the report of a theft of vehicle key fobs. The investigation is ongoing. 2021-2455, Domestic Battery: On 09/02/21 at 11:41 p.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of Harbor Drive in Oswego Township in reference to a report of a domestic battery.  After investigation, Mercedes A. Martinez, a 32 year old female from the 100 block of Harbor Drive in Oswego Township, was arrested for domestic battery.  Martinez was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.   The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
