PHILADELPHIA — A few major highways in Philadelphia are still closed due to flooding from Hurricane Ida's remnants two days later, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, Interstate 676 (the Vine Street Expressway) is still closed in both directions.
However, a small portion of the eastbound 676 is open. That section is between Broad Street (Route 611) and Interstate 95.
Kelly Drive is also still closed, PennDOT said.
Interstate 76 Thursday evening reopened in both directions between South Street and Interstate 676.
Westbound I-76 between South Street and Interstate 676 was reopened shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday.
The city Friday morning said numerous other roads in the city are still closed, but did not provide a list of affected roads.
