I'm speaking to you because COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on our nation, our state, and our region, as the Delta variant of the virus has begun to spike in the last month. Everyone in Millbrae has done an admirable job in getting vaccinated, staying socially distant, wearing face masks, and washing your hands often. Because of your continued efforts, we have relatively low COVID transmission and hospitalization rates. But we must continue the fight and keep our guard up.
