ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police released their latest arrest log. Here is information from the reports:
Store assault
Devonta Lewis, 29, of Bloomingdale, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at 7-Eleven, 525 Spring Road, on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and retail theft. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Lewis was harassing customers at the store before stealing an item. One person in the store said Lewis poked her. Drug possession
Michael Bernacki, 33, of Summit, was arrested about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of South York on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant alleging a parole violation and two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. In the same incident, Keith Terrell, 50, of Chicago, was arrested on two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Nathaniel McGarry, 33, of Melrose Park, was arrested shortly before midnight Tuesday at York and Fullerton on charges of DUI, speeding and failure to signal when required. He was released on bond. Disorderly conduct
Jerome P. Niehus, 57, of Hillside, was cited about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of East Fremont on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was released on bond. Driving violations
Airrion Luke, 26, of Chicago, was cited about 10 p.m. Tuesday at Route 83 and Prairie Path on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and tinted windows. He was released on bond. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
