GLENDORA, CA — Voters who want to cast their ballot in person for the Sept. 14 California Gubernatorial Recall Election can take a free shuttle to their voting center, courtesy of Glendora.
City-run shuttles will not collect fares during election day, city officials said.
There will be two voting centers in Glendora: the Crowther Teen and Family Center and the Oak Knoll Alternative School. Both will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 14.
Glendora residents who are 62 years of age or older and people who are unable to use public transportation on their own can use the city's Dial-a-Ride service for free on election day, officials said.
Contact the Glendora Transit Center at 626-852-4814 for more information about the free election days rides, and visit the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk website for more information about how to vote in the Sept. 14 election.
