TUSCALOOSA, AL — A longtime culinary favorite in Tuscaloosa has closed its doors for good. Big Daddy's Mediterranean Grill made the announcement Friday via Facebook, saying the restaurant at 514 Greensboro Avenue is now permanently closed. The establishment was popular among college students and locals, alike, offering hoagies, hotdogs, peta wraps and sandwiches. In the announcement, the eatery said: "Thank you all for the love and support you've showed us for over a decade. We will miss seeing all of your faces but thank you for giving us all these amazing memories!!!" Have a news tip or suggestion on how I can improve Tuscaloosa Patch?
