Description

934 Total covid deaths in maine. 863 Are deaths of people over 60. Only 71 deaths of people under 60. By way of comparison, 200 people died in car crashes. If you are under 60, you have a much greater chance of dying in a car crash compared to dying from covid. FACT. And now deaths from drug use... In 2020, there were 504 drug overdose deaths in Maine. That number was a 33% INCREASE from 2019. This increase of 160 drug related deaths last year WAS THE DIRECT RESULT OF GOVERNMENT FORCED ISOLATION DUE TO COVID. '2020 was a particularly difficult year for many people who struggle with addiction because of the isolation caused by lockdowns implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In his written response to the report, Attorney General Aaron Frey said "more work needs to be done to fully understand the impact of the pandemic on drug overdose deaths."' (source: The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME)) There is no data available breaking these deaths down by age, but it is safe to assume an extremely large majority of these 160 deaths were from people under 60. If that is the case, the Maine government caused 160 or so deaths of people under 60 due to drug overdoses resulting from the the isolation caused by FORCED MAINE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWNS In other words, our Maine government caused more deaths than covid for people under 60
