Our art gallery has an immediate need for up to two persons to assist with monthly special events. On two weekends of most months during the fall and through winter/spring 2022, we will be conducting promotional indoor/outdoor art events at the gallery and occasionally at other sites in San Diego County. We seek up to two reliable, honest staffers to assist us on those event weekend days in pulling the event off and making it successful. You should expect to be on your feet throughout each day of the event handling a variety of tasks as the need arises, which will include such tasks as assisting in setting up and take down of artwork displays and other things needed for the event, watching over the artwork on display for security purposes, answering questions of attendees and directing the orderly flow of attendees, assisting in serving light beverages and appetizers during openings, as examples of the kinds of tasks that are required of our staffers in a successful event. Qualified applicants should have a high school diploma, preferably will have completed at least one year of college, should speak English very well, be comfortable interacting with people, and have at least one year of prior work experience, they should have three local references to vouch for their honesty and reliability, no criminal convictions, have their own reliable transportation to the gallery and willing to undergo a background check.
