The role of the production employee is crucial for the continued growth of this business. Although we need people immediately, these are not short term/seasonal openings. Motivated individuals will succeed with this business • Company benefits available upon hire! As a production employee you will: 1. Prepare and sort meat for processing manually by hand or by using equipment. 2. Work with machinery for injecting, tumbling, slicing, dicing, mixing, grinding cooking, chilling, freezing, packaging, and sizing. 3. Inspect meat and ingredients for defects. 4. Produce value-added products. 5. Apply quality assurance practices. 6. Apply hygiene and sanitation practices. 7. Follow safe work policies and procedures. 8. Train on the various equipment. 9. Train and understands the concepts of HACCP, SOP,s and SSOP#s. 10. Rotate to different production lines and/or equipment. There are day, swing shift positions available. Must be available to work Monday-Friday with some Saturday's required. Day $13 6am-4pm Swing $14 4pm-1:30am Physical specifications: This position will include frequent lifting up to 20lbs, and occasional lifting up to 50lbs. Will stand for duration of shift Indoor environment, cold/cooler like environment and cookroom/warm environment.
