Household support needed for a busy family of five

Hi there, We’re a family of five in Novato, with two working parents, looking for someone to provide some household support on a daily basis Monday through Friday. We have three lovely kids age 15, 13, and 10, and a two-year-old puppy. Our kids are kind and responsible. Our home is peaceful. But we’re a busy family! Our kids attend three different schools nearby (elementary, middle school, and high school). One of the main things we need help with is driving – school drop-offs in the morning, and pickups in the afternoon. And some tidying up in between with things like dishes, laundry, cleaning, groceries, errands, and other household chores here and there. We’re looking for someone who is responsible, organized, trustworthy, and dependable to become “part of the family” and help with these things on a regular weekly schedule. Requirements: • Driver’s license and car. • Positive attitude and warm personality. • Clear communicator (conversational English OK). • Likes kids, teenagers and puppies. • Organized calendar. • Experience with house cleaning. • Resourceful and independent. • Appreciation for a neat and tidy home. • Ability to do stairs (we live on a hill). • Ability to lift things (bags of groceries, etc). • Flexible schedule. Responsibilities: • Morning school drop-offs between 7:45-9am M-F. • Afternoon school pick-ups between 1:30-3:15pm M-F. • Occasional driving for after school activities. • Morning kitchen clean-up (daily). • Running and folding laundry (daily). • Shopping for and putting away groceries. • Cleaning bathrooms. • Vacuuming and sweeping. • Walking the dog. • Running errands. Aside from school drop-offs and pickups there is a lot of flexible hours in between. We’re also flexible with payment (hourly, weekly, or monthly).
