I have a 7 month old, lovely, energetic, goofball Doberman I need to rehome. He needs lots of love. I got him from the shelter as a puppy but the apartment I am moving to does not allow dogs. He has markings and a little indentation on his head from what the shelter told us was his mother stepping on him. He has a bit of a mouthing problem he gets over stimulated and wants to mouth on things. It can be painful sometimes if he does not get corrected. Although he understands potty training, he has a problem with peeing and pooping in other people’s houses when he is not comfortable or left unsupervised. This potty problem requires a lot of patience. He has a problem of jumping on people too but will get off if you correct him. His mouthing, potty, and jumping problems are the main reasons it’s been so hard to find someone willing to take on the challenge of Doobie. He does well with other dogs, however, his mouthing problems means he play bites with other dogs often and they get annoyed and snap at it but he learns not to nip at them. He is a loving dog aside from that and there is never a dull moment. He will love you 100%. He just needs some routine and structure in his life. He needs someone who will be patient with him and is active enough to get him the exercise he needs. He needs place to run and stretch his long body. I have his bed, food, and toys that you can have. There is a rehoming fee but it can be negotiated if you are the perfect fit for him.
Respond with why you might be the perfect new owner for such an amazing work-in-progress dog like him.
