If you are a professional type looking for gigs, we ain't that. Our drummer has a personal emergency and can't be available, which sucks because we are just getting warmed up. We are a group of players of various walks of life musically guided by yours truly and we are looking for a DRUMMER. Basically, the way it goes is the more engaged you are the more weight you have to throw around when it comes to the big decisions in this group. Or you can hang back and just follow directions. Both are doable here. We are bass, guitar, vocals and searching for keys and drums. Style wise, we are kind of all over the place,. We spend time hammering out a cohesive direction in sound from the many, many influences we take on. PUNK ROCK/POST PUNK/PROTO PUNK - Gang Of Four, SOnic Youth, X, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol, Siouxsie, PIL, Stooges, The Clash, The Damned, Tuxedo Moon, Devo, The Make Up, Unwound. DISCO/ FUNK/SOUL - Parliament/Funkadelic, EWF, Ohio Players, Donna Summer, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Prince PSYCHEDELIA : Doors, Rotary Connection, Country Joe, Jimi, United States Of America, HP Lovecraft, etc... MORE CURRENT: Daft Punk, Stereolab, Broadcast, Portishead, Amy Winehouse, Khruangbin, BOWIE ( We love Bowie) No room for passengers. Must be reasonably competent, able to take direction and fill in the blanks. We value adventurous experimental daring and fancy unique breaks over mere timekeeping. We also like playing for the song. Also, actually be available to show up. Drums provided at rehearsal space.
