Description
Looking for Lane County residents in RURAL locations:
The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Lane County (SPCLC) and Lane County Public Health are recruiting people who live in Lane County and have survived a suicide attempt to share their stories. Participants will work closely with a documentary photographer to create a photo story about life after an attempt. Participants will also record their story in audio format. The project will be shared with the public in galleries and other public spaces in Lane County as well as on a website upon completion in Spring 2022.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older, live in Lane County and have survived a suicide attempt to participate.
The SPCLC is particularly interested in recruiting more participants from rural communities in Lane County to share their stories. If you live outside of the Eugene/Springfield metro area and would like to learn more about how to share your story, please visit the project webpage listed below to complete the online interest form. You will be contacted by the Suicide Prevention Coordinator for Lane County to talk about participation and to answer your questions.
