Continuous hands-on training will always be provided. Physical Duties: -Patch and paint the common areas of the building. -Wallpaper repair in the common areas of the building. -Responsible for general cleaning of the engineering spaces. -Clean and paint non-operating mechanical equipment, which has been shut down, locked out, and tagged by Supervisor. -Provide light electrical duties: Changing light bulbs. -Willingness to learn to become a full-time Building Engineer Emergency Response: -Maintain preparedness for an emergency response to the flood, fire, power outage, earthquake, and another disaster. -Respond to project emergencies. Teamwork & Customer Service: -Be a team player and contribute to the creation of an enjoyable, productive and safe work environment. -Be prepared to assist team members with tasks not strictly related to this job description. -Maintain customer service standards as set by the Hospitality Department and General Manager. -Display high morale, integrity, loyalty, and professionalism at all times. -Be available for overtime in special circumstances in order to complete projects or meet deadlines Requirements: -Must be over 18 years of age and successfully pass a pre-employment 7-year criminal history report and drug screening -Polished and professional appearance and demeanor -Strong customer service skills -Familiar with MS Office applications Qualifications: -Minimum of 1 year of Maintenance Technician experience. -High Rise Property Management or Hospitality experience is strongly preferred. -High Rise mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC experience desired -Fire Life Safety Certification is a plus -EPA/608 Universal License preferred -HVAC Certification preferred Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm Compensation: $19.00 per hour Action Property Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Supports a Drug Free Workplace.
