Our total rewards offering includes: -Hourly rate starting at $20.00 -Dental and Medical Benefits; employee premiums for base plan are 100% paid for by WFP -401(k) retirement savings plan Shifts: Swing shifts: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm RESPONSIBILITIES -Safely and efficiently load, unload and build outgoing loads of lumber into storage facilities, onto semi-trailer trucks and rail cars, securing all outgoing loads in appropriate and safe stacking method. In some locations, automated loading systems are also utilized. -Generates a daily list of materials and lumber replenishment, verifying quantities needed and damaged products to Supervisor. -Coordinate load pulling and loading ensuring all orders are prepared, loaded for drivers and verified. -Safely operates banding equipment, saws and other necessary facility equipment. -Ensures staging areas, loading docks and bays are clean and clear of any materials, lumber or obstacles. -Receives and organizes incoming lumber, in a timely and efficient manner completing all verification paperwork, system receipt entries and material distribution into the appropriate bins and storage locations/areas within same business day. -Participates and supports Inventory and Inventory Control activities, maintaining organized warehouse and yard as well as counting and preparation work for inventories QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS -3-4+ years experience operating a Forklift in a high production, high quality manufacturing environment and -----Preferred Forklift Certified -Demonstrated technical knowledge of Forklift and maintenance -Forklift certification preferred -Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and the ability to move, bend, twist and use staircases -Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and lead others -Demonstrated experience utilizing safe work practices in a manufacturing or industrial setting WESTERN OVERVIEW Western Forest Products is a leading forest products company that manufactures high-quality wood products and sustainably manages forests.
