Production Assistant - (PT/FT) is currently open at Chameleon Antenna in Sparks, NV. This position will require a desire to learn a niche electronics manufacturing market while rotating between the production and operations department. Veterans and amateur radio enthusiasts are strongly encouraged to apply. WHAT YOU NEED: AVAILABILITY Able to work day shifts (flexible) Overtime or weekend shifts helpful but not required SKILLS PC familiarity Enthusiasm for producing the highest quality products on the market Good work ethic with a positive team-building attitude Ability to work carefully while meeting deadlines Able to stand for extended periods (2-3 hours) Previous warehouse experience a plus! Prior knowledge or interest in manufacturing/electronics/radios helpful but not required Must have reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50lbs Applicants must be 18 years of age DESCRIPTION Pick and pack orders according to bills of materials and customer or dealer specification Operate automatic and/or manual wire winder. Measure correct wire sections accurately. Responsible for packaging stock of manufactured goods using light machinery, computers, and system tools Work with multiple teams in order to assist in daily, weekly, and monthly production goals Perform a variety of tasks and functions daily according to a defined job description at the end of 90 days Chameleon Antenna offers it's staff a safe and enjoyable workplace, a flexible schedule, sick pay, bonuses, on the job training, a great break room, and advancement within the company.
