I've decided to go ahead and rehome my almost 3 month old peach faced lovebird who I've been calling Peachy. Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure on the gender because the breeder never had them DNA tested. Ideally I would need him/her to go to someone with bird experience because he/she's been quite bitey and wouldn't be a good match for a novice. He/She is hand tamed but can be quite a brat and likes to pick at skin and bite. With some patience and training I don't doubt he/she would make a great bird companion. My main reason for rehoming is that I don't think he/she's a good personality match for me. I'm kind of at my wits end and I know the responsible thing to do is rehome an animal that isn't a good match for me. I'm hoping someone else with more experience will have the time and patience he/she needs to thrive. I'm asking for $300 because I got him/her for $250 and he/she'll come with a full setup worth a lot more than the extra $50. There will be a cage, plenty of toys, plenty of food and cuttlebones, etc...
He/She's a very good bird who enjoys taking showers with me, playing with toys and sleeping in a plush hideaway. Please contact me if you think you'd be a good fit.
