Hiring & Staff Services is now hiring part-time, first-shift Groundskeeper to help keep a campus' grounds clean, attractive, and orderly, located on the East side of Madison. Light-industrial and/or Groundskeeping experience preferred. Regular attendance is a requirement. Pay & Hours: • Shift/Days: 1st Shift (7:00am – 11:00am.) Monday-Friday • Pay: $12.00/hour • On Bus Route: Yes – Madison Buses run until midnight Responsibilities of this Groundskeeper position: • Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of outside areas • General labor tasks; pulling weeds, miscellaneous grounds work, as assigned • Trash removal Successful Groundskeeper candidates will have: • Proven history of regular attendance and reliability • Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extended period of time • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs • Ability to work well independently and as a team-member under supervision • Minimum age of 18 Qualified candidates may have prior experience working as a janitor, cleaner, cleaning crew, Groundskeeper, or custodial working. Experience in outside groundskeeping, light industrial, warehouse, custodial, may be beneficial.
