General Underground Telecommunication Construction Labor: Prefer candidates with Vac Operator experience, Candidates should also have experience pulling heavy trailers. Will be working around underground utilities and installing conduit and/or cables on either conduit or direct bury projects. Responsibilities: Utility potholing with vacuum excavator or hand digging to locate underground utilities. Cut/dig narrow trenches. Cot/core and remove asphalt and concrete. Push/pull cable or pipe; loading or unloading equipment, tools, materials; installing utility vaults, removing and hauling concrete, asphalt, or other materials; mix and place temporary asphalt patch or concrete patch, lay sod, rock, and other landscape materials. Depending on the experience and certification, you may operate equipment such as mini-excavator, trencher, cable pulling equipment. Other tools and equipment used may include a jackhammer, core drill, demo saw, and pipe cutters. Assist team members in other duties as needed. Ability to meet attendance schedules with dependability and consistency. Requirements: Some excavation experience preferred. Vac Operator experience preferred. Ability to meet physical demands of the job. Must have at least 1 year of experience Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive. Must possess a clean driving record. Must have experience pulling trailers.
