JOB DESCRIPTION Our small, Denver-based e-commerce company is looking for a responsible entry-level candidate for our part-time Packing and Shipping Clerk position. The right candidate will have a desire to learn, provide reliable support, have a quality assurance (QA) mindset, and thrive on bringing order to chaos. The right highly self-motivated individual will contribute to our success in serving our e-commerce customers. All work will be performed onsite. Remote work is not an option. Work hours will be either 7-11 or 7:30-11:30 M-F. A reliable means of transportation to and from work are critical. This person will report to the company owner. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Pack orders, create mailing labels, perform quality assurance (QA) on orders, and ship orders. • Organize, inventory, stock, and restock products for maximum efficiency. • Clean packing equipment to prepare orders and maintain quality control. • Protect equipment and products from damage or theft. Report damaged equipment or products immediately. • Keep the shop in good, clean, working order on a daily basis. • Work with safety as a priority and follow company safety standards. • Perform other duties as deemed beneficial or necessary. NECESSARY SKILLS • Good verbal communication skills, an attention to detail, and willingness to work as a productive member of a team are non-negotiables. • Willingness to represent the company in a professional manner. • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as needed. DESIRABLE SKILLS (Not Required) • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Google Spreadsheets. • Interest and familiarity with social media engagement (Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram). • Good written communication skills. REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or equivalent. • Legal authorization to work in the United States. • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required. • Non-smoker.
