Growing General Contracting Company is seeking cleaners who will be responsible for cleaning a scattered site apartment complex who has small apartment complexes located in the Washington, DC Area. The management office to the site is located on Eastern Avenue where you will have to report to daily to the Property Manager before you get your day started. The Property Manager is looking for two porters. One porter would be responsible for one section while the other porter is responsible for a totally different section. Each porter is responsible for cleaning between 6-7 apartment buildings a day including the grounds of the building. We supply all the cleaning supplies, but you MUST have transportation to work at these sites. The responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following; cleaning apartment complex buildings and the grounds. Primary responsibilities will be sweep and mop floors in the buildings, clean and disinfect surfaces, remove debris, vacuum and buffs floors (as needed), shampoos carpets (as needed), empty trash receptacles, replace lining of trash cans, use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces. Mix various cleaning agents. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust and scrub surfaces clean. Apply wax to coat floors and buff. Apply sealant to floors. Identify and report possible repairs, and keeping areas neat and tidy.
