POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for the loading and unloading of Mutual Materials products for customers in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner. Promoting positive customer relations and providing an exceptional level of customer service is essential. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory and shipping and receiving documentation, keeping the yard orderly, as well as performing physical labor as necessary to prepare and break down pallets, hand-load customer orders, and stock product. This position works outdoors year-round, subject to all weather elements and extreme temperatures. On the job training will be provided to any and all New Hires by experienced Mutual Materials employees. JOB REQUIREMENTS • Similar work experience and/or related experience in the building materials industry is preferred. • The qualified candidate will have great customer service skills and a positive attitude. • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a fast-paced branch team. • Willingness to learn and perform at a high level. • Physical capacity to lift 70+ pounds on a semi-regular basis; able to be on your feet for most of the day; bending, twisting, and lifting are essential for this position. • OSHA certified forklift certification/ experience is preferred. • Previous experience with masonry products, stone and/or construction practices a plus. • Must be able to work 40 hours per week. * Offers of employment are contingent upon candidate(s) passing a pre-employment UA; you must be eligible to work in the United States.
