When automobiles were invented ignorant rural hicks said "No one wants it. There's no roads smooth enough for cars, no gas stations to fuel up at, and we poor stupid dirt farmers can't afford it." When computers were invented ignorant rural hicks said "No one wants it. There's no software, no one knows how to use them, and we poor stupid dirt farmers can't afford it." When green energy became common ignorant rural hicks said "No one wants it. Green doesn't have enough generating capacity. There's not enough available power on the grid to charge all the electric cars. We don't understand battery recycling so we think you'll throw all the batteries in the ocean even though we actually could care less about polluting the ocean. And we poor stupid dirt farmers can't afford it."
