Are you interested in working a position that allows you to see the State of Florida while deploying equipment and work a flexible schedule? Quality Counts, LLC (www.qualitycounts.net) is a transportation data collection and consulting company. We provide data, statistics, and support to transportation engineers using innovative approaches and industry leading technology. Field Technicians are responsible for setting up various types of survey equipment designed to count vehicles and collect traffic data. We are looking for a dependable, part-time, Field Technician to service projects across Florida. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to a part-time schedule that averages 30 hours per week across the year. Depending on project location and duration, overnight stays will be required. You can expect to travel approximately 10% of the time. All work is conducted using a company vehicle. Hotels, meal reimbursements, travel hours, and flights (if required) are all paid for by the company. Our office is located across the street from the Fairgrounds on US 301. Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication: verbal and written Strong attention to detail Initiative: ability to manage small projects and solve problems independently Technologically savvy Navigational skills Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders up to 20 feet, and operate power tools safely Ability to adhere to safety guidelines Requirements: Clean driving record Pass drug screening upon hire and randomly throughout employment Flexibility to travel on short notice, including overnight stays as necessary, around the state Compensation: This job starts at $17.00/hr+ (DOE) Position will have a 401k after 1 year employment and 1000 hours worked After reading the descriptions above, please fill out the application and provide a cover letter.
