Area Manager (Daytona Area)
Overview
Managing flooring and wall tile trades on job sites during construction, tracking and controlling materials, ensuring quality installations, and providing a high level of service to customers.
Responsibilities
• Understand flooring and wall tile materials as well as review floor plans and implement or verify job layout accuracy; determine job readiness and slab conditions as well as make recommendations regarding site preparation
• Responsible for installation/repair by communicating job expectations, monitoring, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining subcontractors
• Supervise installations and manage material during installations
• Estimate time and labor requirements for installation, backing-up Service technicians when needed and completing (all minor repairs) in his or her designated areas if the time and condition permits
• Quality control of all flooring and wall tile installations
• Assist in warranty resolution in completed homes
• Communicate effectively with job superintendents to ensure timely job completion and customer satisfaction
• Maintain client confidence by investigating all customer complaints and explain installation/repair methods and procedures
• Any other field duties as assigned

• Experience in construction
• Well organized and detailed oriented
• Demonstrate success in continuous process improvement and problem-solving activities
• Display a sense of urgency
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proven work history of dependability
• Excellent customer service and care skills
• Strong communication skills
