Hello, I am looking for a like minded female to discuss ideas about building an off-grid homestead. I am 47 year old male. Not looking for anything, except a friend and partner to perhaps build one with me. I have the building, electrical, and plumbing skills to build, but I currently lack skills in gardening, husbandry, canning (food), and preserving food in other ways. If you have those skills, great! If not, we can learn together! If this is something you have knowledge in or interest in, I'd love to talk with you. Currently, I am in the process of selling my home, personal belongings, and vehicles here in Portland and looking for land to buy in other states. Portland is getting bad, both politically and with crime and I want out! I want to live a more relaxed and peaceful life, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. I prefer female age 35 to 45. No drama. Currently just looking for someone to do this project with me, nothing else. If it develops into something romantic or intimate along the way, then that is fine, but we can just stay friends and financial partners and that would be okay also. Talk to you soon!
