One of our clients located in Fairless Hills, PA is currently looking for several Manufacturing Associates. This is a one year temporary arrangement. But has the possibility/opportunity of going longer based on performance & attendance. Broad Job Function and Purpose: This will require you to be on your feet all day and will be lifting (50-75 lbs) and bending as well. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager. Qualifications/Experience (Must have): • Able to stand for extended periods of time • Able to lift up to 50lbs. • Forklift experience. • Computer literate. • Ability to communicate effectively to the team and supervisors • Must have reliable transportation • DUSTY and WILL GET DIRTY. • Open to cover someone absence even in other Operations department as needed. Nice to have: • Supervisory / team lead experience • Experience in cement manufacturing industry • Mechanical experience a plus • High School graduate, trade school certification in electronics or related field a plus. • Able to read, write and comprehend documents in English. • Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout work shift • Able to understand, analyze and resolve technical problems in work area. • Must be able to operate a forklift. NOTE: This position does NOT have ANY available public transportation (either to or from our client site. Reliable transportation is a MUST). Special Requirements: * Strong oral communication and math skills. * Fluent skills in reading, writing and comprehension of English. * Able to lift heavy objects (such as hoses, pumps, etc.) * Adhere to attendance requirements, including hours of work. * Establish and maintain good working relationships. * Meet certification requirements for forklift operation (if required). Hours: (MUST be able to work these hours) Monday thru Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm or 2:00pm to 12:30am. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of experience in an industrial operation.
