$$$ Solar Roof Lead Pay: $45 per hour. $$$ $$$ Solar Crew Installer Pay: $30 per hour. $$$ Go Green Energy Specialists is a leading provider and installer of solar panel systems for residential and commercial property owners in New Jersey. Our company has grown substantially since its founding in 2012 and are now looking to take on new hires. We are currently hiring both Solar Roof Leads and Solar Crew Installers to effectively manage and install the DC portion of the solar panel systems. As a Solar Roof Lead, you’ll be counted on to provide leadership and technical expertise for your solar installation crew of three to six members. You’ll be responsible for safety, quality and productivity as you ensure the successful completion of each project. Solar Roof Lead Job Responsibilities: + Effectively oversee all aspects of the construction workflow. Direct crew members to install the racking system, solar panels and DC wiring to the inverter. + Manage the jobsite in a way that promotes the continuous improvement of OSHA workplace safety. + Provide feedback to management. + Clean up job sites. Preferable Work Experience and Skill Sets: + 1-2 years of residential or commercial solar installation experience. + Strong mechanical/construction abilities. + Ability to read commercial electrical blueprints. + Ability to locate defects in wiring. + Experience with electrical work involving wiring up to 1000 VDC and 480 VAC. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people management skills. + Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently). + Understanding of relevant OSHA standards and the ability to implement them correctly. + Knowledge of NEC and applicable codes and standards.
