Description
The pie assembler will be responsible for operating fresh dough sheeting and pressing equipment, filling pie/ cobbler shells with varies ingredients, and packaging fresh made desserts in bulk cases and retail display containers. This person must be a team player with the ability to stand for a full 8 hour shift, focus on critical measurements, and communicate with up and down stream team members to successfully assemble the absolute best quality desserts.
What You’ll Do:
• Divide large batches of dough into single pie shells and tops.
• Prepare dough in pie tins for and/ or press pie shells using a pie press.
• Deposit pie filling into pie shells.
• Smooth pie fillings and batters with spatulas.
• Scoop flour, sugar, and other powder ingredients into containers ranging from 1 quart to 50 gallons.
• Assist team members with other function such as dumping, mixing, stocking, packaging, etc.
• Hand crimp fresh made pies.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of your work area and production room as a whole.
• Place frozen and baked dessert products into retail packaging containers.
• Apply labels to products and cases.
• Stacking trays weighing up to 10lbs. of products from 6” from the ground up to 6’ in the air.
• Assist with the breakdown and cleaning of lines at the end of the shift.

Skills, Requirements and Minimum Education Level
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English or Spanish.
• Possess strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and tasks assigned at the same time.
• Ability to work independently while having a team mentality.
Schedule:
$12.75 Day Shift: 6am or 7am start time
$13.75 Swing Shift: 330pm start time
