Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a Fabrication Shop setting. LOCAL Candidates Only, Please. NO relocation, Sponsorship, or Travel available. Essential Functions: Job requires being able to work in an open air environment during many types of weather conditions. This is a physically intensive job that many hours of standing along with stooping, bending, lifting and reaching. Work with Maintenance Manager to coordinate repair of equipment based on production’s needs and safety. Must be able to be certified and operate various types of equipment (IE: Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, etc.) Ensure that all equipment is repaired to original safety standard. Use established procedure of equipment repair requests/Tag Procedure. Perform preventive maintenance and minor to medium repairs on shop and yard equipment. Quality Standards Must be able to understand maintenance manuals, codes and diagrams Qualifications An individual must be able to perform each essential duty above average and always represent the company in a professional manner. The requirements listed are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have a good knowledge and understanding of electrical, hydraulics, welding and burning equipment, plumbing, compressors, overhead cranes, mobile cranes, Diesel repair, forklifts, and trucks and trailers.
