Job Description START TODAY !!! We are a busy company doing business with a large dealership ONLY. We are looking for hard working, self motivated, reliable, qualified and professional representatives that can perform quality auto prep/paint along with light body work. We require minimum 1 yr auto paint experience. Representative must live in or near Tampa, have a VALID drivers license. Job Responsibilities: Paint surfaces of vehicles using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques Inspect panels to be painted for body repair, prepping and/or buffing defect Mix to specified color using standard formulas or color charts Sand, mask, blend, and polish finish to match surrounding areas. Use of a touch up paint tool may be used to apply or retouch paint as necessary Keep track of supplies inventory and notify responsible individual when supplies are needed Keep work area clean and orderly May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate Be reliable by being at work on time and remain at work until expected time and/or communicate to Manager/Supervisor if you are unable to do so with in a reasonable time of required start or quit time. Qualifications: 1 year auto painting experience required. Strong communication and interaction skills required. Excellent organizational skills required. Valid Driver's License Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus No theft of any kind per Background check Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Ability to lift 1-15 pounds Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks. Ability to handle Florida heat. Frequent exposure to toxic chemicals. Moderate noise level. Respirators must be worn, and other protective equipment may be required.
