Position Summary Packers are responsible for the picking and packing product to be delivered to our clients/customers. Reliability, attentiveness to details and pride in one’s work are key qualities that are needed. Duties & Responsibilities • Using a pick ticket (Work Order) packs goods making sure that quantities, sizes, shapes, color and styles are packed accurately. • Uses appropriate vessel to pack goods for transport • Inspects goods to make sure that products are in good condition, clean and reports any damaged equipment to Supervisor • Labels orders correctly (Shipping and Contents labeling) • Stages order in designated area • Reports shortages to supervisor for follow-up • Records all packing information (Packer Name, Location, Box counts, Serialized Equipment Numbers) into Shipping Software • Keeps packing area neat/clean Knowledge, Skill and Abilities • Ability to safely carry, push and pull a minimum of 50 to 80 pounds on a regular basis and/or while being assisted by others • Attentive to details • Ability to follow directions or written instructions • Ability to work long hours and/or varying shifts (days, weekends) • Ability to Stand, walk and reach for extended hours Schedules Available: Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm & Saturday 7:00 am – 12:30 pm; Monday to Friday 10:00 am – 6:30 pm & Saturday 7:00 am – 12:30 pm
