We are looking for an AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM SUPERVISOR W/ DRIVING Part-Time: 2:15pm-6:00pm M-F Hourly Pay: Starting at $14.75 an hour (potential for raise available) Will also drive a company Van/Suv for school pick up. (Drives for less then an hour each day) Call: 914-391-4841 Job Details: The first part of the day will be to pick up a few kids at the local school, and drop off at our location. After Driving: Involves organizing a group of children (ages 5-12). Running physical games & activities (like dodgeball), and then monitoring a quiet area that children will have time to do Homework, and play quieter activities. This is actually an After-School Martial Arts Program. Children are brought to the Martial Arts Studio, the After-School Program supervisors help organize games/activities, then students take martial arts classes with a Martial Arts Instructor (supervisor doesn't participate with the martial arts section), after classes, the After-School Prog supervisor will organize quieter activity time (including time for homework). Reliability is a Must! NO MARTIAL ARTS EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Experience working with children and ability to relate to children! It's a fun place to work, but professionalism, positive attitude, and energetic is very important as well! Job runs during the summer (if wanted)! Not only during the school year.
