Description
Searching for a part-time superintendent to manage four (4) residential walk-up properties consisting of a total of 19 residential units in 2 areas. Potential studio available for applicant’s use.
Required Qualifications:
• Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience – 2 - 5 years of experience working as a super/handyman
• Must have US documents to establish Identity and Employment Authorization
• Fluent in English
• Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, boiler mechanical and painting
• Ability to tactfully interact with tenants
• Ability to communicate effectively with Property Manager and Management
• Must have a car
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Daily monitor and inspect the properties.
• Weekly Preventative maintenance.
• Sort trash and place on sidewalk on collection days, clean and mop common areas semi-weekly
• Snow removal as needed
• Maintain building supplies and materials
• Turn over apartments after vacancies
Work Hours:
• Monday - Friday: 1-2 hours per day minimum and ensure the schedule allows for proper handling of trash pickups and sidewalk cleaning to mitigate violations, as well as any after hour emergencies. Additional hours for apartment turn overs, repairs, and maintenance as needed.
• Saturday & Sunday: Emergency Only.
