Lake Maintenance Technician needed to perform application of aquatic herbicides and algaecides to existing and growing customer base; Monday – Thursday 7AM – 4PM, Fridays 7AM – 1:30PM. Technician's responsibilities include the treatment of lakes for the control of algae & nuisance aquatic vegetation, fountain & aeration installation/maintenance, fish stocking, mosquito larvae control, water quality testing, and littoral shelf maintenance. Candidate should possess a strong work ethic and a desire to work outdoors; the ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service. Aquagenix offers an excellent benefits package that includes a flexible work schedule, company vehicle to drive to and from work, paid vacation, paid holidays, medical & dental insurance and 401(k) program. *$17 to $20 dollars per hour w/top pay paid to licensed & experienced technicians Requirements: * Previous experience treating lakes for the control of algae and aquatic vegetation along with experience with the installation and maintenance of fountains and aeration systems; a plus, but not necessarily a must. *High School diploma *Good math/science skills *Good customer relation skills *Ability to work outdoors in boats, ATVs, and spray trucks *Ability to lift 50 Lbs. and carry a backpack of 40 Lbs. throughout the day on uneven terrain and rugged embankments around lakes, ponds, and canals. *Excellent driving record a must *Drug Free Workplace
