Tap into your inner Artist with Art-O-Maddic's, Anna Tooze! Enjoy a beautiful morning class among the dahlias with Anna Tooze as she instructs you on a beautiful purple dahlia canvas painting. Each participant will create a 16"x20" canvas using acrylic paint. Class is appropriate for ages 13 & up and all skill levels. No experience necessary as Anna with take you Step by Step through the process. Acrylic Stains! Dress for the mess and wear clothing you don't mind getting paint on. Bring an apron. Anna is a fine artist who lives here in Canby, OR and has lived in the Portland metro area her whole life. Inspired by the beauty of the Pacific NW and the west coast areas. She paints mostly fruit, flowers, plants, and other nature scenes that are found here in Oregon. Gestural brush strokes in bright colors while still depicting realism. Painting since she was 9, she works mostly with acrylics and enjoys bringing color and joy to the people’s homes through her art. When she’s not painting, she can be found adventuring and camping outdoors with her husband, decorating cakes, or drinking wine with friends. During the beginning of COVID-19, she was furloughed from her job as a medical assistant at a local hospital. After a long hiatus of not painting, she decided to use that period of time to re-kindle her love of art and use of creativity to inspire others and bring some joy to social media. All supplies for your canvas painting are included in the class fee. Class is held outside, please dress appropriately.
