Join historian J. Michael Moore for an educational tour of the site of Lee's Mill in Newport News. Learn about Richard D. Lee's agricultural endeavors in what was formerly known as Warwick County as well as the site's role in the Civil War Peninsula Campaign of 1862. This tour is appropriate for those over the age of 12 and will involve moderate walking. In case of inclement weather, the tour will be re-scheduled or refunds will be issued. Participants will be advised of any COVID-19 protocols before the tour. Please note Event-Brite service charge fees will not be refunded. Lee Hall Mansion is a historic house museum operated by the City of Newport News Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
