Join LO SLC for a nice night hike to the famous Living Room trail! REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED LO SLC is leading a night hike to the famous Living Room trail. You are welcome to bring your own headlamp but we will have 10 available headlamps thanks to a kind donation from Petzl. You can park for free along Colorow Road and the trailhead is at 383 Colorow Road. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. and go until 10 p.m. at the latest depending on our group's pace. You will need to bring a small backpack or bag to hold snacks, water, a face mask, bug spray, and any layers you may need for the weather. We will also bring some light snacks for the group. PLEASE LOOK FOR A WAIVER TO COMPLETE IN YOUR EMAIL (from Community Initiatives, not Latino Outdoors) AND ANOTHER EMAIL WITH MORE INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO THE EVENT SPOTS FOR THIS EVENT ARE LIMITED. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND, PLEASE LET US KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BY EMAILING [email protected] About LO’s COVID-19 Guidelines After careful consideration and consultation with LO leaders about the resumption of in-person outings, we have implemented the following measures to allow us to safely gather in person while minimizing the risk of community spread: New policies and procedures 1. All attendees must maintain physical distancing. 2. Leaders and participants will decide together whether or not to wear masks. 3. Anyone who feels sick or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 should stay home. In the case that someone begins displaying symptoms during an outing, they will be escorted back to their vehicle to go home and rest or separated from others until they can go home. As the pandemic evolves, so will our approach to keeping you safe. We thank you for your patience and flexibility as we manage this, and invite you to check in with us if you have any questions. What you can expect from LO To ensure the number of people present at in-person gatherings does not go beyond what is considered safe by local health guidelines To be given accurate and truthful information about LO outings in the context of COVID-19 Adherence to county level public health department guidelines What LO expects from participants We take safety at our community outings very seriously. We ask participants to self-certify that they do not have symptoms, have not been diagnosed with or had direct contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case in the past 14 days, and will comply with LO’s safety policies and procedures. Together, we can ensure safe, positive, and meaningful experiences in nature.
