Join Mandy Krickhahn & Jaden Schultheis along with other makers to talk about upcoming local markets Mandy (owner/founder of The SpOiled Housewife & The Collective) and Jaden (owner/founder of Yours Truly) both started their business journey as artisans. They will lead an open discussion about upcoming local artisan markets and will be sharing applicable tips to help you grow your own business & get into more markets. NOTE- This meetup will be extremely interactive. Please be ready to talk about your favorite local markets and bring a list of any upcoming markets you know about. This is a great time to come together with other local makers, network and learn from each other! Meet Mandy Mandy, originally from Michigan City, became a housewife/stay at home mom when she was pregnant with her son Mark in 2009. Once Mark started school full time, Mandy wanted to make her long time dream of owning a skin care business a reality, and founded The SpOiled Housewife in 2017 with a $1,000 loan from her family savings. Two years later, Mandy had the idea to start The Collective where she now hosts events and workshops that support other small businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as the NWI community. Mandy lives in La Porte with her husband, son and the goodest boy, Hank, their Wheaten Terrier. Meet Jaden Jaden Schultheis is the creator and owner of Yours Truly Bath Co. She graduated college earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jaden has always been really artistic, enjoyed drawing, painting, and just creating in any way that she could. Quickly after starting school, she realized her days were filled with calculus, work, and problem solving. Jaden needed a stress reliever & needed some art back in her life. After making handmade body care gifts for her family and friends, they loved them so much that they asked if it was possible to buy some for THEIR friends as gifts. Then their friends wanted some, and their friends, and that is how Yours Truly all started! Since starting her business, Jaden recently opened her first brick & mortar in Valparaiso all while working full time as an engineer, planning a wedding & continuing to run Yours Truly. Jaden lives in Valpo with her husband, Andrew & her dog, Tonka.
