This in-person writing workshop is designed for high school students to creatively express their views and inspire others to act for change. Guided by Dr. King’s legacy and principles, this in-person writing workshop is designed for high school students interested to learn how to creatively express their views and learn about speaking up to inspire others to act for social change through MLK VOICE 4 YOUTH, a spoken word contest. The workshop is offered by David Teague, Associate Professor, and Dha’Zhea Freeman, 2019 MLK VOICE 4 YOUTH 3rd Prize Winner, both are from the University of Delaware. The workshop is a collaboration between MLK VOICE 4 YOUTH and The Teen Warehouse.
