This course provides the Texas DPS required classroom training and firearm qualification along with an in-depth handgun ownership class. This course provides: The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) required classroom and firearm qualification students need in order to obtain a Texas License to Carry a Handgun (LTC). Handgun Ownership Class- Whether you’re an experienced shooter or first-time handgun owner, this course will give you the knowledge necessary to think objectively and to act safely around handguns. We will also help you make safe, educated decisions when purchasing a firearm so that you can buy the handgun that is best for you. *Range Fee Included In Price* *Handgun Required* Rentals Available- $20 Fee *OUTDOOR RANGE- DRESS ACCORDINGLY, SUNSCREEN, MOSQUITO REPELLENT, ETC.* What To Bring To Our LTC Class Your Texas Drivers License (DL) or State ID. Note: Military Personnel bring DL and Military ID A Handgun either a Semi-Automatic or Revolver that is of a .22 Caliber or higher for the shooting proficiency test A box of 50 rounds of factory ammunition *No reloads please* (Extra ammo recommended) A hat (baseball cap or similar) Eye Protection, preferably with side shields – Regular glasses and sunglasses are acceptable Hearing Protection – Ear plugs or ear muffs (Electronic allowed) NO flip flops or sandals Light snacks/drinks provided.
