Join us as Dept. of Principal Quality highlights leaders of color in CPS, featuring inspirational leadership stories & strategic development Register now to join other Latino/a/x leaders at the first in a series of Department of Principal Quality speaker events, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 4:30 pm at Benito Juárez Community Academy HS (2150 S. Laflin St, Chicago, IL 60608). “DPQ Presents” aims to inspire and support leaders of color for school leadership by highlighting the leadership journey of a prominent guest speaker, engaging in development with the Office of Equity, and sharing information from DPQ related to opportunities. This first session features Dr. José Torres, Interim CEO of Chicago Public Schools. Following Dr. Torres' talk, DPQ has partnered with the CPS Office of Equity to offer small-group work time with a learning session on interviewing. We will also be giving a brief overview of leadership programs and opportunities in our district. PLEASE NOTE: Due to capacity (and distancing protocols), we can only accept a limited number of attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 40 people to register will receive priority.
