Gourmet pizza dinner for two includes salad, veggies and dessert. Pick up date: Sept. 18 between 5 - 6 p.m. at Ukiah High School Parking Lot “Pizza My Heart Mendocino” is a fundraiser for the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County. This to-go meal, prepared by Chef Olan Cox, includes two gourmet 12-inch pizzas (both veggie: 1) pesto, blue cheese, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil 2) tomato sauce, roasted onions, mozzarella, sweet peppers, oregano). Meal comes with local salad greens with cidered honey dill dressing; balsamic beets, carrots and peppers, and baklava from Dolus Restaurant of Ukiah for dessert. The wood-fired pizzas come par-baked, (you finish the baking at home). Sorry, no substitutions or special orders are possible. All orders must be placed and paid for, in advance. All proceeds benefit the work of the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County. Pick up time: Saturday, September 18 between 5 and 6 p.m. at the Ukiah High School parking lot (look for signs and cones). The Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County provides information, support and advocacy to cancer patients throughout Mendocino County. Services include trained patient navigation, medical visit preparation and accompaniment, support groups, help with transportation and modest financial needs related to cancer treatment. There is never a charge for services.  The CRC vision is that no one will face cancer alone.
