AVES is hiring someone to oversee the cleanliness of our growing hospital. This is a full-time position that may include weekend shifts. AVES is interested in individuals who: • Follow instructions and are eager to learn • Present a neat and professional appearance • Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic • Show attention to detail and take pride in their work • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift moderately heavy objects. • Must be able to walk or stand for the duration of the shift • Must be comfortable around animals undergoing medical procedures • Must be able to pass a background check. • Must be authorized to work in the United States Responsibilities/Tasks include but are not limited to: • Sweeping, mopping and maintaining floor cleanliness throughout the hospital • Disposing of trash and recycling appropriately • Cleaning the kitchen and removing old food from the refrigerator • Dusting ledges and vents • Removing pet waste from walk areas • Cleaning all windows and glass panes throughout hospital • Maintaining cleanliness and supplies in all restrooms • Assist with performing hospital laundry services
