Description

Timberlake is looking for a sub-contractor cabinet installer to install cabinetry at new construction sites for single-family homes. Fine carpentry and general construction knowledge is required. An excellent eye for detail and high quality of work is needed. Primary Functions • Install structures such as boxes, fascia, toe kick, shadow moldings or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws • Maintain records, document actions, and present written progress • Able to read and work from construction plans / drawings • Other functions related to the task may be assigned by the Timberlake representative Experience Required • Experience in cabinet finishing and touch up required • Experience in cabinet manufacturing and installation preferred • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Personal Attributes Required • Attention to detail and accuracy • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight on a regular basis • Open and clear written, verbal and electronic communication with appropriate personnel • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 50 lbs. • Bilingual a plus (Proficient in English: oral and written a must) • Reliable transportation with proof of insurance with valid driver license Compensation and Benefits • Top negotiated pay rates License Requirements • Valid Driver’s License • Contractor’s License • Plus all required insurances Tools and Equipment Requirements • Truck, van or vehicle capable of carrying necessary tools • Tools required for cabinet installation • Smart phone
