Join TAP-SD for food, fun and activities to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival! Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節), also known as Moon Festival, is a traditional annual gathering by families around the world. It is a time to reconnect with friends and family and is the second-most important holiday after Chinese New Year. With a history of over 3000 years, it incorporates the celebration of the moon for bountiful harvests for the year to come! So come join your TAP family and friends for cheerful festivities to start your weekend. The TAP-SD Mid-Autumn Festival event will be held at Civita Park on September 18. TAP-SD will be providing catered food, drinks, and mooncakes! We'll also have fun activities for the whole family, including lantern making, interactive icebreakers, and of course, moon watching! Tickets are available now via Eventbrite for $20 per person. Ages 12 and under are FREE! Each paid ticket will receive a mooncake! Proof of vaccine completion, for those who are eligible, is required to attend the event. Recommended proof of vaccine completion: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/ Welcome to TAP-SD! We're building our network of Taiwanese Americans in the San Diego area.
