It’s our 50th year of the annual Okefenokee Festival. 2 days of unbridled family-friendly fun! Featuring arts & crafts, a custom & classic car show, food vendors, kid’s entertainment, live music in the park and special events at the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and lots more. Admission is Free! Experience all rural South Georgia has to offer with a taste of authentic, small-town charm. We are home to one of Georgia’s 7 natural wonders, the Okefenokee Swamp. Come see our beautiful sights, outdoor exploration, and rich history. Centrally located between Amelia Island, St. Marys, Jacksonville, and Savannah, Charlton County is only a short drive from I-95, Charlton County makes the ideal place to experience everything South Georgia has to offer.
