You're invited to the first free monthly Community Calm Class! Space is limited to 15 people ages 12 and up*, so sign up early to reserve your spot.
In this class, you will experience:
Brief discussion on meditation and what it does for our minds and bodiesBrief introduction to the Chakra energy centersGuided Self Check-in meditationSeveral simple movement practices to activate energy in your bodyTwo Conscious Breathing techniques to help still the mind and relax the bodyIntegration discussion to close (participation optional but encouraged!)No experience is necessary for any of these practices. All backgrounds and belief systems are welcome. These practices are designed to be accessible to everyone.
Face masks are required for this event, and will be available on site if needed. The event is indoors with social distancing.
A note about accessibility: This class is on the 2nd floor, with no elevator or wheelchair access. I apologize for this current limitation, and plan to find a more inclusive solution very soon.
*Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Each person must register separately to keep class size within the maximum.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to settle in so you are ready when we begin. Doors will close promptly at 10am, with no entry once class starts. This helps to create an uninterrupted space for us to relax and find calm together.
