hello I'm a vocalist based in Georgia but have reliable transportation and don't mind traveling for gigs/bookings. I have some experience, mostly small gigs and family gatherings. If I had to put myself in a box I'd say I was a dugazon mezzo-soprano. I am a highly creative individual, my music interests are wide and I can sing pretty much anything, being originally from New Orleans my heart is jazz but soul, rock, r&b and indie will always rule my life. I am having a personality crisis because of the fact that I am not living as my true self and refuse to allow fear to rule over my life. I've struggled a lot in life and the pain and heartache pours from my soul out into my voice. Amy Winehouse is a major inspiration along with Erykah Badu, Lauren Hill, Jasmine Sullivan, WILLOW, SIA, Frank Ocean just to name a few off the top of my head though I am not limited to that. I have an acoustic and an electric guitar. I can play some, basically chords and some riffs. I'm rusty on piano but a fast learner, if you have one that's definitely. I refuse to send photos due to the sick nature of the internet so if you're serious we can video chat and see of we're a good fit for each other. Ideally I'm looking for someone(s) wanting to build themselves up from the ground up with the talent and determination to break out of the societal norm in order to allow yourself, your true self. I write music, lyrics, poems, I always have. I need someone who also has a compulsive need to pour their soul out onto the tear-soaked pages whom may possess some artistic pure soul who lives for sound that only comes from the tortured soul. Someone who doesn't belong in this world, actually someone not of this world; but a rather abstract one filled with the unknown but still believes in the possibility of living a full life that contains only the best parts.
